Homely Atmosphere - The converted school building is a bungalow set on premises of one acre. It has a lovely playground with a lawn for pony rides, pets, ball games, a trampoline, and a child-size purpose built swimming pool.

Teaching Staff and Staff-Pupil Ratio - The ratio is 1 teacher for every 5 children; this includes a Montessori qualified class teacher, assistant and student teachers. The teaching staff has either an overseas or local qualification from reputable Montessori colleges. We also employ part-time specialist subject teachers, as well as external speech language therapists and occupational therapists.

Library, Reading Scheme and Language Activities - We encourage the children to develop a love for reading right from the age of 1 ½ years by allowing them to borrow books from our library of specially selected children’s books. We use audio CD’s with the Oxford Reading Tree books level 1 to 7. Grammar-based activities (such as story sequencing cards, Workbooks and Comprehension) are also part of our English-Language rich syllabus.

Standardized Montessori and Other Well Researched Apparatus – We not only use the standardized Montessori equipment, Galt and Early Learning Centre teaching apparatus, but also child-sized pottery designed by Bijal Shah (Headmistress and Director) for the school. This pottery is now being used in Montessori schools in Britain and America. An article was published in the Montessori international Magazine, issue 64, July-September 2002 edition about this pottery.

Basic Science, History and Geography - Basic concepts in these subjects are taught informally through simple experiments and structured play activities. For example: The Plant & Animal Kingdom; Evolution & Time Line; Land Forms & Continents, e.t.c.
